Burgundy sweater dress

Hello beauties!

Happy Fall! It has finally cooled off in Chicago, and we are feeling the crisp air in the mornings and evenings. This is definitely my kind of weather – the sweater weather, boots, scarves and pretty jackets!

The color of the season is said to be red. I love red, but not all shades of red look “right” on me if you know what I mean – but I am happy to say that I think I have found my shade of red: burgundy!

Okay, so check out this Pink Blush sweater dress and tell me it isn’t the cutest dress ever? I love the lace detail on the bottom! It has lining to keep you from flashing your privates and keep your chic and classy on! Wink. Wink.

You can style it with leggings and boots for a more casual look, or dress it up with tights and heels for a night out. I chose no tights this time 🙂

I got all dolled up, hair and make-up, put this dress on and my favorite pair of heels and my husband goes, “Where are you going?” and here I am, like {giving him the look}: “Well, maybe you forgot but you’re taking me out to dinner after you snap these photos” He cracked up!

By the way, one of the easiest ways I get motivated to get dressed up and dolled up is having somewhere to go! I know I have mentioned this so much, and maybe annoyed a few of you but I am a huge advocate of self-care and self-love. I believe in treating ourselves, as mom life is definitely challenging, hard, frustrating and at the same time the most rewarding. Whether you are a stay at home mom or a working mom, either way you are a boss babe and deserve to feel and look pretty!

So do me a favor, find one day in the week, one hour and dedicate to yourself – just yourself. I promise you, you will feel that much better! I always find time for myself, and I have stuck with a weekly coffee date  with bestie since my first-born. We all need to get our sanity back and enjoy someone else’s company other than our kids. I know that everyone’s schedule/life/sotuation is different but I also know that if you want something you can make it happen.

Psstt…. can we talk about the olive green color in this sweater dress? I am swooning over here. But seriously, Pink Blush has the cutest clothes for expecting mamas!

Thank you beautiful ladies!

Xoxo, Vesna
